Re: ITS comment: Various comments on EMMA WD (20070409)

Christian Lieske and members of the ITS team:

Thank you for your review, comments, and suggestions on the EMMA
specification.  The benefits of using ITS within EMMA are clear and we
welcome this opportunity to share ideas.  We have elected not to change
the emma:tokens annotation because there are other mechanisms better
suited for ITS.

The attached document provides the formal response with a more detailed
discussion of how ITS and EMMA may be used in combination.  Perhaps
these comments will be useful for implementers and their experiences
will inform future versions of EMMA.
