Topics for core meeting on Monday? For #120 Remove/deprecate/simplify the ms element <https://github.com/w3c/mathml/issues/120> NS wrote "Make the polyfill target <mtext> and that way we avoid problems as what core does with <ms>." NS added "need polyfill issues requiring implementation changes" DC discussed section B3 where finding the correct character to produce accents is considered. #70 U+002D HYPHEN-MINUS in <mo> operators <https://github.com/w3c/mathml-core/issues/70> U+002D HYPHEN-MINUS is too short, so MathML browser implementations render it as U+2212 MINUS SIGN. You need to use the Unicode minus, and not the ASCII minus, to work. *ACTION:* #183 mpadded and percentages <https://github.com/w3c/mathml-core/issues/183> Consider closing this issue in the next core meeting. MoS: There has been a performance review of MathJax. It is too big. And so they suggested some changes, and I had only very limited time, and I implemented most of it, and there's no really serious issues. The core spec does not have to change. <https://cryptpad.fr/#cp-md-1-4-strong-action-strong-volunteers-to-proofread-spec-sections->4. *ACTION:* Volunteers to proofread spec sections?
