I got a question about the status of two old Notes (from 2003) by the Math WG: ‘Structured Types in MathML 2.0’[1] and ‘Bound Variables in MathML’[2]. Are they still relevant? Or should they rather be marked as obsolete? It seems to me that ‘Bound Variables in MathML’ is obsolete. MathML3 (and 4) have other means to express bound variables. ‘Structured Types in MathML 2.0’ also seems to use outdated MathML2 constructs, but parts may still be useful. Any advice?
