Hi David, this came up on the blind math list. Can you help this guy with 'significant' examples, or anyone else on the math list please? Either direct, his email is at the end of this, or via me if you'd prefer. regards DaveP. AC RNIB. <quote> As I may have mentioned before, i am developing a program to translate xml files into Braille. It is optimized for technical material. So far, it will handle the xml files from Bookshare, and it will also translate Word files exported as xml. The framework for handling math is there, but I can't find documents containing math to use as test data to fill in the details. It would be immensely helpful to obtain documents of substantial length containing math, preferably in MathML, but also in Word. If the files are in Word, I would need them exported in xml. The program is called xml2brl. It produces brf files with the same format as those on Web-Braille. I'll be making an alpha release soon. It's Open Source. The original releases will be for Linux, but it can be ported to Windows. Thanks, John -- John J.
