I'm trying to build Libwww on an Unix machine which already has the expat library (it comes from a Debian package). What should I do to use this one, saving the compilation time and the clash when 'make install' tries to overwrite my expat libraries? I tried --with-expat=/usr/lib/libxmltok.so but it changed nothing.
