But it should build .LIBs as well, doesn't it? -----Original Message----- From: swalch@cisoft.com [mailto:swalch@cisoft.com] Sent: Monday, January 11, 1999 6:27 PM To: Vladimir Kozlov Cc: www-lib@w3.org Subject: RE: Help building static libraries for MSVC Basically, it still built DLLs, regardless of whether or not WWW_WIN_DLL was defined or not. - Stephen Walch swalch@cisoft.com Vladimir Kozlov <Vladimir.Kozlov@idm.ru> on 01/11/99 10:23:50 AM To: Stephen S. Walch/Corporate Image Software cc: www-lib@w3.org Subject: RE: Help building static libraries for MSVC Stephen, Could you please describe your problem a bit more detailed? Was there some undefined externals? Could you please send a list of errors from MSVC? Kind regards, Vladimir Kozlov. -----Original Message----- From: swalch@cisoft.com [mailto:swalch@cisoft.com] Sent: Monday, January 11, 1999 6:16 PM To: www-lib@w3.org Subject: Help building static libraries for MSVC I have tried without success to build a static version of the www-lib libraries for Windows. I have tried editing the MSVC makefile in a number of ways, including undefining WWW_WIN_DLL, to no avail. If anyone has some tips, or a working makefile that accomplishes this correctly, I would much appreciate it. Thanks Stephen Walch swalch@cisoft.com
