Recompiling Jigsaw

I have written my own trial filter for Jigsaw 2.0 beta 1. However, I am
having difficulty re-compiling Jigsaw, so that the my filter class will be
displayed in Jig Admin. I have tried to use the makefile but in vain. I am
not familiar with makefiles. If anybody could tell me how I could
recompile Jigsaw with/without the makefiles, it will save me a lot toil.
