It has been a long time now since the last release. The next on will be in January, we hope in mid-january, but it may be at the end. This new release will be 2 releases at the same time. a 1.0beta2 with nasty internal bugs removed. A better HTTP/1.1 support and fixes to various things like servlets and so on. And a new 2.0alpha release. This 2.0 is changing the way the resource are handled internally. Making the resources less linked with HTTP, so that experiments with other kinds of protocols can be done nicely in this new environment. For example, notification mechanism on resources will allow to do real push or this kind of thing. We currently have a server running with this new api, and the move from 1.0 to 2.0 of the servlet resource was quite fast. Most of the "classical" resources has been ported and tested. The documentation is in preparation. I will post the URLs as soon as the basic for understanding this new version will be ready. It seems that it has less bugs than the 1.0 in the handling of resources, but experience will tell! /\ - Yves Lafon - World Wide Web Consortium - /\ / \ Architecture Domain - Jigsaw / \ \/\ / \ / \ http://www.w3.org/People/Lafon - ylafon@w3.org
