>Has anyone succeeded in getting Jigsaw to run under Sun's JDK-1.0.2 for the >Macintosh? Jigsaw will never work under JDK 1.0.2 for the Mac. Sun released it with serious crashing bugs in the socket classes, and in the 7 or 8 months since its release, hasn't bothered to fix them. I wonder if anyone has gotten Jigsaw to work with Apple's MacOS Runtime for Java, currently at version 1.0b1. I believe this is a more stable and mature version of the VM than the so-called JDK "1.0.2" for Mac. +---------------------+-------------------------+---------------------+ | Dave Makower | davemak@pencom.com | WWW Specialist | +---------------------+-------------------------+---------------------+ | Co-author of "Java Programming Basics" (Henry Holt/MIS:Press) | | http://www.pencom.com/javabasics/ | +----------------------------------+----------------------------------+ | Pencom Web Works | (212) 513-7777 voice | | Pencom Systems Inc. | (212) 513-1975 fax | | 40 Fulton St. | | | New York, NY 10038 | http://www.pencom.com/ | +----------------------------------+----------------------------------+
