Dear All, Rule for typing sequence using Bengali Chandrabindu (0981) on a Unicode enabled keyboard should be: The base letter + Chandrabindu + ligatures (as per the spelling rule in Bengali). Example is attched herewith. The present typing sequence rule using Unicode, the incorrect one,(for example: Base Letter + ligature + Chandrabindu ) needs to be corrected as per above spelling rule in Bangla. The correction of this rule is very important in order to ease the task of Bengali Spell Checker or automatic code conversion or understanding an existingBengali text corpus. Thanks and Regards, Goutam Kumar Saha, C-DAC Kolkata
