The GEO Working Group has published a new article: An Introduction to Multilingual Web Addresses At: http://www.w3.org/International/articles/idn-and-iri/ (Contributed by Richard Ishida, W3C) Recent developments enable you to add non-ASCII characters to Web addresses.
