WW3 help Japanese

Hi

Its win 2000 platform and we are using ww3help  java source for this help

We tried with both
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8 ?>
and
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="SHIFT_JIS" ?>
still its not displaying japanese chars

can you help me this issue

Which platform are you running? Are you using Netscape or IE ? Netscape 6.2 
or Netscape 6.1 or Netscape 4?
Have you try <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8 ?>
or
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="SHIFT_JIS" ?>

What IS the encoding of the file ?
