Most alert/confirmation messages come from Windows API's when they are called in Java/script. So if you are running a Japanese app on a US Windows system the messages will not be able to display correctly, you see black thick lines instead. If you can't run the same Windows locale but need to read the messages you will have to write html pop-up boxes. ftang@netscape.com (Yung-Fong Tang) To: Rakesh Bhatia <rbhatia@noida.hcltech.com> Sent by: cc: www-international@w3.org www-international-requ Subject: Re: Javascript Internationalization est@w3.org 01/24/01 12:18 PM Which browser are you using ?
