Can someone point me to good information on the facilities offered by current and near-future generation mobile phones in Israel and in Arabic countries? I am particularly interested to know to what extent bidirectional text is supported on these devices and whether all text that is displayed or sent is converted to reading order before presentation. For SMS, is text sent in logical or reading order? For Arabic SMS, are characters sent or is some representation of glyphs sent? -- Chris
