Hi Melinda, Grant, Melinda (26 oct. 2007 - 03:28) : > Apparently the situation is still that, although the archives are > publicly available, I am unable to subscribe to this list. The process is simple and explained here http://www.w3.org/html/wg/#join # W3C Member company employees (Melinda, your case) 1. Use the form for getting a W3C account http://cgi.w3.org/MemberAccess/AccessRequest 2. Have your AC representative nominate you using the form for joining this Working Group. http://www.w3.org/Member/ACList http://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/40318/join # Individual people who are not affiliated to a W3C Member http://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/40318/instructions#nonmember 1. Read the HTML Working Group Charter. 2. Read the invited expert and collaborators agreement. 3. Read the Policy for Approval of Invited Experts. 4. If you do not already have a W3C Access Account login and password (check if there is an account associated with your address), complete the Public Access Request Form. In the "Describe the specific purpose for this public access name and password:" field, fill in: "To apply for participation in the HTML Working Group as an Invited Expert." You should receive your W3C login name and password within two (2) business days. 5. After you receive your W3C login name, complete the W3C Invited Expert Application. You should receive a reply within ten (10) business days. If your request is accepted, you will receive an invitation with additional instructions for formally joining the group. 6. You will then be able to complete the form for joining and participating in the HTML Working Group as an Invited Expert, at which point you may begin your participation in the group. 7. You will also be subscribed automatically to the group's mailing lists. -- Karl Dubost - http://www.w3.org/People/karl/ W3C Conformance Manager, QA Activity Lead QA Weblog - http://www.w3.org/QA/ *** Be Strict To Be Cool ***
