You seem to think that differentiating between inl-line and block elements
is not important and should be changed via style sheet. The whole point of
a stylesheet--as I'm sure you know--is to separate style form content.

Whether something is in-line or block is more fundamental than a styling.
E.G. there is a big difference between a word in a body of text, and a
content section or navigation section in a document.
