I'm pleased to announce preliminary versions of two things that should assist in the development of modular XML DTDs: archy: an XML modular DTD framework home page: http://www.doctypes.org/archy/home.html distribution: http://www.doctypes.org/archy/archy.tar.gz instance karma: an XSLT stylesheet that creates a DTD from a simple XML file home page: http://www.doctypes.org/instkrma/home.html distribution: http://www.doctypes.org/archy/instkrma.tar.gz The former is a generic template based on the XHTML modularization, the latter an XSLT stylesheet with the ability to create a 5 minute DTD. Documentation is on the home page of each. instance karma produces a DTD following the same naming conventions as XHTML. Future versions will support modularization and other features. These are very preliminary versions (but functional), so please don't build an empire around them. Feedback welcome. Murray Please note that the doctypes.org site is unfinished and will be announced separately. ...........................................................................
