Yes, I realize this. I was merely presenting an alternate syntax to James's suggestion. >Second, I'm not sure what >a MIRROR element (or LINK REL="Mirror") would achieve in practice. I think it would be useful as a bridge from one mirror to another. For example, some home pages contain a list of mirror sites. Moving this list into LINK elements would remove navigational clutter from the page while providing useful information to search engines. A menu-driven LINK implementation (e.g., AMSD Ariadna's) could make switching to a different mirror easy for the user. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP for Personal Privacy 5.0 Charset: noconv iQB1AwUBNL9rSQ/JhtXygIx1AQE8IAL/X1MfzsUwY20GGgs8w5jsGH8fgDatKUNY 6H15NejtulmVmpPeBlYWHuZKtgro+xutN/04p+yv7Js+P/jqRjxHebqjFo31OXX7 ovyTMOAPtRy6u0rxifvZHjywlaFFWXKF =TsU4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Liam Quinn Web Design Group Enhanced Designs, Web Site Development http://www.htmlhelp.com/ http://enhanced-designs.com/
