The definition of link relationships is now being defined by W3C. (This page is no longer being mainbtained as I have left the organisation). It's not clear if the major browser companies will implement it. Microsoft did not mention it in their presentation at WWW6, although they did demonstrate their support for Cougar. Brian Kelly
