Same here in the US (East Coast, anyway), though I know people who
refer to ".shtml" (for server-side includes) as "Shit-Meal" or
"Shit-Mill".  A friend of mine thought ".shtml" at the end of files 
was webmaster argot indicating job dissatisfaction.
