The HTML 4.0 DTD declares that the OBJECT element can contain %block. However, since OBJECT is an inline element, how can it contain block-level elements? I notice that the new INS and DEL elements were defined separately to avoid this problem; perhaps OBJECT should be similarly separate. (Just like INS and DEL it can contain block-level elements, but it is not itself a block-level element, so it doesn't cause a new paragraph.) P.S. Anyone else getting huge numbers of misdirected digests from "~adminbar@mutual.co.uk"? -- E. Stephen Mack <estephen@emf.net> http://www.emf.net/~estephen/
