IM-just-as-HO, that's reason enough to advocate it. If people stop using FRAMEs and BANNERs and SPACERs and all of those dreaful little hacks until someone gets a legit way to implement them in a right way then we will get That's exactly what HTML Pro does. Add my name to that list of people wanting CLASS and ID in HTML 3.2 (there IS one being made, ISN'T there? :-)) All there and waiting. New version (v0r11) will be going up this week at http://www.arbornet.org/~silmaril/dtds/html/htmlpro.html This will * fix some buglets * add attributions to elements so you can see who invented them (where known) and thus judge what browsers support them (anyone who wants to send me lists of what browsers are _known_ to actively support which elements is welcome to do so) * improve documentation * add a test file and stylesheet for Panorama * add the WebTV elements so you can see where they are posed :-) Last-minute suggestions welcome. This will be the last round of changes (barring any earth-shatteringly vital fixes) until I finish my current book (SGML Tools). The next task will then be XML compliance... ///Peter
