| Seems very sensible. Should be an ALT anywhere there's a SRC, | I guess, as you can't tie the presence of ALT to the _value_ of | another attribute in the DTD, only in an application. Frankly, I would rather see ALT fade away, and have people instead use a construct like OBJECT, where much more markup is available in the alternate version.
