HTML Development Rates

I hope that this isn't too off topic, but does anyone have any idea
of the "going" rate for html development?

Some of our commercial clients have expressed an interest in having
us develop home pages for them (some would like forms work, as well),
and we really have no idea what to charge.

If ya'll feel this shouldn't be a topic for list discussion, post to
me privately.  Thanks lots.
