        I've also had a problem getting NCSA Mosaic (up to 2.0a8) for 
Windows to properly handle an <IMG SRC> request on the first HTML page 
returned by a POST command. Instead of issuing a GET request for the image 
file, it appears to be issuing a POST which of course makes no sense to the 
server and hence it pukes.  Several messages to the Mosaic developers has 
yielded no response.
