I noticed that it is legal to have nested STRONG elements (or EM elements). Personally, I do not see the logic in this. I recommend that the STRONG element be listed in the exclusion content of the STRONG element. The similiar can be said for the EM element. Eg: <!ELEMENT STRONG - - (%phrase.content)+ -(STRONG)> <!ELEMENT EM - - (%phrase.content)+ -(EM)> Any compelling arguments to the contrary? --ewh
