Dear HTML Working Group,

What should a user agent do in the situation below?

<a id="donkey" href="donkey.html" src="chicken.xhtml>chickens</a>

Please make the specification explicit on the situation where the resource 
chicken.xhtml contains links itself, does activating the links inside 
chicken.xhtml also activate the donkey link, if not what mechanism is there 
for activating the donkey link?
