Hi, The definition of the LinkTypes type in the XHTML M12N SE WD lacks the following clause from HTML 4: [...] Authors may wish to define additional link types not described in this specification. If they do so, they should use a profile to cite the conventions used to define the link types. Please see the profile attribute of the HEAD element for more details. For further discussions about link types, please consult the section on links in HTML documents. [...] The language of the text in HTML 4 is inappropriate, since the section only states "Authors may use the following recognized link types..." not that they are allowed to use custom link types, it only states that authors may wish to do so. The paragraph about custom link types should be added to the WD but changed so that custom link types are clearly allowed. regards.
