In reponse to your last call comment http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-html-editor/2001OctDec/0547.html about the XML Events specification http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/WD-xml-events-20011026/ I have summarised your comment, and include our responses: Use anyURI, not URI We agree, and will do this. In fact XHTML Modularisation will be modified so that any use of the datatype URI will automatically refer to anyURI.
