Gentlemen, Time has come to defend the 'netizens' from Tyrannosauruses of the software market. Many years ago you and other defended UNIX. Now is the time to defend HTML. I propose that W3C and WWW.org adopt a charter similar to Linux to ensure that our future generations will not have to talk about 'good old days' of the net. Internet is far too precious a tool, to give away without strings attached to commercial enterprises. I am confident that the supreme court will back you fully, they are sensible people who can see what microsoft and others are doing to the PC revolution. We owe this to us and our future generations. Please, please, please, adopt a charter to ensure HTML is always free of commercial interference. Many thanks ash verma MD http://malpractice.home.ml.org/
