Chapter 8.9 shows the checkbox as one appropriate way to represent the selectOne form control. As I recall, this was discussed on list in relation to the August WD and the decision appeared to be that checkbox was inappropriate to represent a selectOne option. To use checkboxes to select *one* goes against the traditional visual metaphor in forms. Did something change? Or was the alteration of the possible graphical representations overlooked for updating?
