I recall that some time back it was indicated that "XForm" as a singular term was deprecated. It seems to me inevitable that the term XForm will become widespread. For an example, take a look at http://www.fawcette.com/xmlmag/2002_08/magazine/focus/kcagle/default_pf.asp In practice an author has the choice in an article or book on XForms of writing "XForms form" multiple times or neologising and using "XForm".
