Quoting Steven Pemberton <steven.pemberton@cwi.nl>: > Most implementors seem to have adopted the measure of using the > namespace to identify the required processor, and for this reason > have asked us to change the namespace. This basically means you're duplicating the semantics of a lot of elements for no apparent reason. And are the elements that have slighly changed supposed to act different depending on the namespace they are used in? Why doesn't the XForms WG try to fix the problems in XForms 1.0 while retaining the namespace and seek together with implementors a way to update their products once in a way that breaks with XForms 1.0 were needed but would be conforming per XForms 1.1. -- Anne van Kesteren <http://annevankesteren.nl/>
