The EPUB WG is currently working on EPUB 3.0 to be released around May
2011.

The use of WOFF as well as  SVG Fonts could be a good solution for EPUB
3.0. I' ve been involved in the EGLS WG discussion and I'm interested in
joining a discussion on this as an observer.
