It's good to see that WOFF is gaining support, and I am sure that as more implementations become available the usage of downloadable fonts in WOFF format by web authors will increase. I'd like to take this opportunity to remind all interested parties that a new proposed charter for WebFonts Working Group is now published by W3C for review: http://www.w3.org/2009/08/WebFonts/charter. The group will continue the efforts to standardize WOFF format and develop tools and test suite to further promote WOFF adoption. I would like to ask all W3C members on this list to support this activity and submit their responses using this online form: http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/33280/fonts2010/. The deadline for response is March 12, 2010.
