How to know the status of my previous request?

Hello,

I appreciate your great free service of web to e-mail. However, I have
one  question:  could  I  know  the  status  of my request? You know,
sometimes  I  get  the  file  I  requested several days ago, sometimes
immediately.  If  I  could  know the status of my request, I would not
resend the file and just waiting.
