The definition of http://dev.w3.org/2006/webapi/DOM-Level-3-Events/html/DOM3-Events.html#glossary-phase suggests propagation is specific to Node objects. Indexed DB has propagation and no Node objects. It would be nice if http://dev.w3.org/2006/webapi/DOM-Level-3-Events/html/DOM3-Events.html#events-EventTarget-addEventListener said something about uniqueness and otherwise ignoring the method invocation.
