Namespace Algorithms

Hi All,
In first Namespace algorithm given in W3 DOM level 3 specifications(Appendix B)(i.e B.1: Namespace normalization) i can see only  "see example 1", but i am not able to find out where this examples are?
Can any one  help me to find out the mentioned examples?
