Proposal for MEG-LANG: A Scientific-Inspired Markup Language

Dear W3C Team,

My name is Theo Bataller, and I am a young independent developer from
Argentina. I would like to respectfully submit a concept I’ve been
developing called “MEG-LANG” (short for Mega Extensor de Código).

MEG-LANG is an experimental markup language inspired by HTML, but
structured with a more symbolic and scientific syntax. The goal is to make
coding more expressive, intuitive, and accessible—especially for
educational and creative purposes.

Some example syntax elements include:

- <MEG-LANG>: similar to <!DOCTYPE>
- :/TITLE\:: used for defining a title
- ¡ALT!: an automatic warning if an error occurs
- /:IG‽=: embeds an image

I’ve also created a JavaScript-based interpreter that translates MEG-LANG
code into working HTML. It includes an online editor where users can write
and test MEG-LANG in real time.

This is a personal project that I hope may be of interest to the W3C as an
educational tool or experimental concept. I would greatly appreciate any
feedback, suggestions, or guidance on whether such a concept could be
considered for further development within the W3C ecosystem or its
community.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Theo Bataller
