From: Arthur Barstow <art.barstow@nokia.com> Date: Fri, 5 Jun 2009 08:41:21 -0400 Message-Id: <6DEF34E0-32CE-4D8C-9DDE-7ADB94101D1E@nokia.com> To: w3c-ac-forum <w3c-ac-forum@w3.org> Hi All, First, congratulations to all of those recently elected to the AB! Although I think it is good the election resulted in some "new blood" being injected, I also think it is unfortunate that those not elected will not have an opportunity to directly talk to the Team via the AB. Here's a strawman proposal to end this glorious week in June -> abolish the elected Advisory Board and replace it with a self- selected Advisory Board i.e. any AC member can join the AB. In practice, I think we would end up with about the same set of people in the AB yet the AB would then be much more inclusive and, in particular, could include those that had cared enough about the Consortium to have run for the AB. WDYT? -Cheers, Art Barstow
