Forgot to make this public apparently. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Mon, Nov 26, 2012 at 2:04 PM Last week: * Defined IPv6 parsing and serialization. Deferred to the IPv6 RFC for syntax rules for now. * Defined that host names are percent decoded. * Updated XMLHttpRequest to use the URL Standard for URL parsing. * Added a hook in the DOM for cross-document event dispatching. * Started fleshing out URL scheme details: http://wiki.whatwg.org/wiki/URL#Schemes This week: * Write a report on IDNA on my blog but leave it as undefined in the standard for now as it is unclear what direction browsers are heading in (if any). * Look into https://github.com/cweb/url-testing * Fix query parsing for URLs with non-relative scheme * Hopefully make an initial attempt at defining about/javascript schemes since not much work can be done on IDNA.
