Hixie, For the copy of the HTML5 draft that's maintained in dev.w3.org CVS, I'm wondering if it might be possible for you to refine your checkin script such that in the W3C CVS commit description, the WHATWG Subversion revision number is appended or prepended to the text of the commit message - preferably delimited in some way that makes it easy to parse out (braces, brackets, whatever); e.g.: Shun UTF-32.
