[-lists, +www-archive] Hi, In the latest incarnation of the @alt permathread, I've noticed several people state or imply that the HTML WG's editors are ignoring or have ignored the advice of the PFWG. For example: Karl Groves wrote, in <15350113.115371219328266857.JavaMail.root@mail.ff44a.com>: > Time and again this WG has chosen to ignore the advice of [the PFWG] Laura Carlson wrote, in <1c8dbcaa0808210513u345aa855ud86e3fa9a26cea@mail.gmail.com>: > PF's advice should not be ignored. As I've seen it, the editors have carefully considered all feedback from the PFWG, along with input from many other sources, and have made significant changes to the spec as a result. This is as far from any ordinary understanding of "ignoring" as possible. Now, maybe by "ignore" what people really mean is "failed to accept uncritically..." -- Edward O'Connor hober0@gmail.com
