Submitted Materials

   I, David Beckett hereby contribute to the World Wide Web Consortium[1]
   the following specification, comprising the following documents
   attached hereto:
    1. [2]Turtle - Terse RDF Triple Language including examples

    2. Turtle test files
      md5sum tests.zip:  46b56a875718d39fd33fb2a87b032cc0

   The subject matter of this contribution was conceived of and developed
   by me while at the University of Bristol, prior to my employment at
   Yahoo! Inc. Accordingly, I contribute this material in my individual
   capacity and not on behalf of Yahoo! Inc.

Intellectual Property Statements


   I hereby grant to the W3C a perpetual, nonexclusive, royalty-free,
   world-wide right and license under the copyright I hold on this
   contribution, and to copy, publish and distribute the contribution
   under the [3]W3C document licenses.

   Should this material be used as a contribution towards a W3C Activity,
   I grant a right and license of the same scope to any derivative works
   prepared by the W3C and based on, or incorporating all or part of, the
   contribution. I further agree that any derivative works of this
   contribution prepared by the W3C shall be solely owned by the W3C.

Trade and Service Marks (if any marks identified)

   The contribution refers to the following trade and service marks
   (registered or not): NONE


   I agree to offer licenses according to the W3C Royalty-Free licensing
   requirements described in [4]section 5 of the 5 February 2004 W3C
   Patent Policy for any portion of the contribution that is subsequently
   incorporated in a W3C Recommendation.

Suggested action

   I suggest that the W3C [5]Semantic Web Interest Group publish this
   contribution as an Interest Group Note.
