Re: XSCH note

I've checked in my changes that were on my laptop, now I'm doing the 
merge. The intro might be a little bit of work, but the rest looks 
straightforward. I'm intending to do this uncritically, or else I'll 
miss the deadline!

I'll let you know when I'm done.
