turning bullets off

Hello,

currently, there is no way to change the list level of list items
(e.g. to turn an item into a paragraph).
This is provided by several word processors, such as Openoffice Writer
by a toolbar that allows
to turn on and off bullets or numbering, and promoting/demoting items.
Without this, the source html must be edited.
