I've just configured my web server to handle WebDAV (it's using the Apache module for Apache 2.2.3). The server seems to be working well and I've tested it using the cadaver command-line tool. When I lock a file using Amaya, I don't seem to be able to unlock it. When I use the "Locked?" option on the cooperation menu, it seems to do a lock. "View resource properties..." never displays anything. "Copy lock information" always reports that the resource is unlocked, even when it's in fact locked. "Unlock" reports success (sometimes) but messages such as "Transfer interrupted!" or "2 pending transactions" appear on the status line. I've configured a logger to inspect the HTTP messages and transfer is not being interrupted; frequently the server responds with a 207 header which is perhaps being misunderstood by Amaya? Is anyone using this facility and can they give me some advice on what I should expect from the various options? Is it possible that my server's WebDAV module is using extensions that Amaya cannot understand? Advice would be much appreciated. CPK Smithies
