doc type reset

The following scenario seems to be related to the us-ascii problem with 
the newdoctype Preferences.

Scenario:
(1) Open Amaya
(2) Set preferences>publishing>newdoctype to something other than 
us-ascii and Apply
(3) Check by opening a new document or two.
(4) Now open the attached html file that has errors in it. (you may need 
to have the style sheet as well, because the errors are actually in 
that--see previous post) You should see the little red ball.
(5) Now check your preferences settings and/or try to create a new document.

When I do this, my publishing>newdoctype has been reset to us-ascii
