Yes, there is a problem with new GTK and/or Xorg versions. It seems that, probably due to a change in events schedule, a refresh message is sent to a killed widget. We continue to investigate this problem. By default amaya checks if there is another instance already running to send the open request to that instance instead of starting a new one. I suspect in your case that the amaya instance is quite dead but is still running. Set the following environment variable to allow several amaya instances AMAYA_MULTIPLE_INSTANCES=yes I hope it will solve your problem meanwhile we find out a better solution > thanks in advance > Lorenzo Regards Irène. ----- Irène Vatton INRIA Rhône-Alpes INRIA ZIRST e-mail: Irene.Vatton@inria.fr 655 avenue de l'Europe Tel.: +33 4 76 61 53 61 Montbonnot Fax: +33 4 76 61 52 07 38334 Saint Ismier Cedex - France
