Amaya 9.54 reporting error as line and character

9.54 reports source code errors as line and character, but does not
appear to report the character position of the cursor on the status bar
as it has previously.
This makes it much harder to find the actual error when working in
source code.
For example an invalid tag in a line of tags might be any  of them if
there is no position in the line specified as the error position.
The active status bar is a huge improvement, but this is quite a large
price to pay if you are working straight into source code.
